Final payment is due within seven (7) days of receiving an itemized invoice.
Accepted payment methods include BACS, cash, and cheque.

4. Customer Obligations
To ensure smooth project completion, customers must:

Allow reasonable access to the property for our team to carry out the work.
Notify us promptly of any changes or additional requirements for the project.

5. Work Execution

The contractor will perform the work competently and carefully.
The customer must provide access to the premises and ensure no obstructions to the work.
The contractor will clear away rubbish and leave the work area clean upon completion.

6. Insurance

The contractor shall maintain adequate insurance coverage, including public liability insurance.

7. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 14 days of signing the contract by providing written notice via post, email, or in person.
If services or materials have already been provided before cancellation, the customer may be liable for related costs.

8. Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure high-quality service, Home SM Construction Co Ltd will not be held liable for:

Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, supply chain disruptions).
Pre-existing property conditions that may affect the project outcome.
Minor cosmetic imperfections that may occur as part of the natural wear and tear process.
Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

9. Disputes

Any disputes will first be referred to adjudication through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) before court proceedings.
If adjudication is chosen, both parties accept that the cost, rules, and procedures involved will become part of this contract.
